This past weekend we shot a series of three commercials for Apocalypse Apparel, a faux American Apparel-esque manufacturer that focuses on hip clothing worn during the apocalypse. The brand is the brainchild of Cassi Costoulas, The Collective Project Inc.'s costume designer and business director.
Each of our commercials is helmed by a different director and showcases a unique Apocalypse Apparel product; First Date and Mario and Luigi director Torey Haas created a spot for "Who Needs the Sunglasses" (featuring Keyla McClure of First Date and a slew of stop motion mole people) while new MonsterBuster directors Kevin Hicks and Katelyn Brammer advertise the "Deep Cut V Neck" (with James Johnson and Tricia Gaulesky) and the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fundress" (starring Erin Greer) respectively.
In addition to the three Apocalypse Apparel commercials Crowscare's Jay Holloway also directed a tongue-in-cheek "How To Survive The Apocalpse" PSA in which our unnamed spokesperson (Matt Strach) shares strategies for surviving different apocalyptic scenarios including zombie outbreak and alien invasion.
All three commercials, the PSA, and our second Red Herring trailer will premiere at the "7 Months to Live" party Friday, May 25th at 8:00 pm at The Goat Farm Atlanta.
